Yoga
The word yoga means union of body and mind.
Yoga is a path that teaches us to live in the present moment, awakening us to the exploration of the different layers of the being: physical, organic, physiological, psychological, pranic, emotional and spiritual sensations.
From a physical point of view, practicing yoga develops flexibility and body awareness, increases strength and balance.
Moreover, yoga allows us to access the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps us manage stress, through different techniques such as breathing and many more.
Meditation
Meditation can be defined as a set of techniques that are intended to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention.
Meditation is also a consciousness-changing technique that has been shown to have a wide number of benefits on psychological well-being.
There are different types of meditation (mindfulness, zen, vipassana, transcendental...)
